Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil
The delicate nutty flavour of this multi-award winning oil comes from the chalky soil of the Yorkshire Wolds, where Jennie and Adam Palmer have been producing cold pressed rapeseed oil since 2008. With their original rapeseed oil as a base, they now produce a wide variety of infused oils and mayonnaise, and they also make bread-dipping oils under the Charlie & Ivy's brand.
Jennie was instrumental in helping us set up The Yorkshire Pasta Company, and has been a huge supporter of ours ever since.
Guppy's Chocolates
Peter and Fran Guppy are based in York, and have been making the most luxurious handmade chocolates since they started in 2010. Their Ruby Chocolate has the most beautiful pink colour - totally natural - with flavours of red berries and fresh sour notes. It's vegetarian, gluten free, palm oil free, and supports 100% sustainably sourced cocoa.
Cosy Cottage
Clara Challoner Walker founded Cosy Cottage in the kitchen of her 350 year old cottage in North Yorkshire - she had become concerned about the harmful effects of the additives used in commercially produced soaps while she was recovering from breast cancer, and as a qualified chemist she used her knowledge to start producing natural soaps at home. The business has grown and grown, and now has a small manufacturing premises in Malton, together with the Cosy Cottage Store.
